job summary:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager in Pensacola, FL, to support the planning, coordination, and execution of general construction projects. This role assists project leadership with daily operations, monitoring site progress, organizing preconstruction bids, and tracking documentation to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

responsibilities:

• Assist with project coordination, preparing and tracking RFIs, submittals, change requests, and project schedules.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, evaluate schedules, and identify potential safety or cost issues.
• Support preconstruction activities, including bid solicitation, scope reviews, subcontractor alignment, and meeting preparation.
• Facilitate clear communication across field teams, clients, subcontractors, and engineers, while documenting meeting minutes.
• Assist with closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, operations manuals, and financial reconciliations.

qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Education: High School (required)
