Job Description

Reporting to a Senior Sales Director you will lead and build the internal business plan for our Family Dollar & Dollar Tree sales team driving total volume profit and share growth for our Center Store Grocery portfolio including Snack Pack Pudding Hunts Tomatoes Vlasic Pickles and other prominent categories including Prepared Foods Condiments and Breakfast among others. You will manage the plan to achieve volume profit and share goals while implementing brand strategies with the customer by leveraging consumer and category insights. You will also develop and lead the external Joint Business Plan (JBP) aligning with the customer on growth goals that close white space opportunities and maximize sales across established businesses.

This is a remote field position based in the Eastern US with travel to the Chesapeake / Norfolk VA market.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Develop annual customer plans and gain alignment on growth opportunities.
• Implement brand strategies through category business reviews with the customer.
• Create trade promotion strategies and tactical plans in partnership with the customer.
• Monitor the customers business plan managing trade budgets deduction balances Cost-To-Serve and volume to achieve sales goals.
• Establish regular connections with buyers to discuss consumer trends business drivers and incremental opportunities.
• Apply category insights practices to link consumer and shopper trends to sell-in new items and grow distribution.
• Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts to maximize supply chain efficiencies by tracking shipments consumption data and inventory changes.
• Collaborate with Shopper Marketing Business Development and Category Leadership to create marketing programs aligned with brand and customer strategies.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelors degree required.
• 5 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales.
• Financial experience including P&L management.

Compensation

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
